Old Desert Inn Casino-Used Playing Cards
Cards and box are in good used shape for being as old as they are.
The box shows handling and the card deck has been clipped on two diagonal corners (normal procedure for used casino card decks that are sold to the public).
There are 52 cards in the deck, no jokers.
The Desert Inn was a great piece of Las Vegas history, one of the early gambling hotels, it was where Howard Hughes occupied the top two floors prior to his death and it where the original Oceans 11 movie was filmed back in 1960.
Great collector deck of cards from a great Las Vegas casino (the Desert Inn was demolished in 2000 an marked the end of the old Las Vegas).
I also have an old casino used deck form the Silver Slipper for sale.
Howard Hughes was paranoid that the Silver Slipper shoe sign had a camera in the toe and was filing him in the nearby Desert Inn’s penthouse, so he bought the Silver Slipper and had it closed down.
